The Nature's Co. Calling

In my Fabbag last January I received this product of  The Nature's co. White Tea night creme sample of 20ml, whose full size 50 ml price is Rs.895. Without wasting any time I will directly come to the point, I don't want to be mean or harsh but it really doesn't worked for me. January is a time  in India where it is normally winter season and I have a combination skin which means my skin would become very oily during summer season and extremely dry during winter.

So when I received this The Nature's co. White Tea night creme, I started using it from the very day it landed at my doorstep. At first I thought the night creme is fabulous because it was non-sticky and would dry out quickly, so I was happy with it because generally I steer clear of anything that would stick to my face making it look glossy or rather oily and shining all over. But as soon as I wash my face next morning my skin feel rather much more rough and dry than it was previously.Though it is mention in the container that it is for all skin types, but I m not sure it is.

I feel like my face has stiffen somewhat and no wonder it did, because it has a white Tea extract which is not good for dry skin. White Tea is however beneficial as an anti-ageing ( which I don't need obviously because I m in my 20s)  and helps in reducing pigmentation and is recommended by DERMA doctors. It is usually preferred in products that is for oily skin.

I think I have to use this night creme during summer season to see how much my instinct is right. I have kept this night creme aside after using it twice, so maybe I can use it again during summer which is around the corner. Anyway it smells nice.

I won't say that The Nature's co. White Tea night creme is not good, it just didn't suits me,different skin has different requirements but I m sure people with oily skin and pigmentation may find it proficient.

My Minaudière

Two weeks ago I went to my nearby market area to buy a few things for myself and a purse for my mom(will be reviewing that too),when my eyes fell on this beautiful handbag which I can't resist buying and let me tell you something I m not some crazy shopaholic who buys anything and everything she laid her hands on. I m a very sorted person when I go shopping and would buy only those things that I actually need, except maybe make-up products, even then while buying make-up I don't buy anything hastily and would buy only those things that I don't have at that time.

So you can imagine how beautiful that handbag must be that even I can't resist purchasing it. The icing on the cake was that I got at much cheaper rate, thus I didn't waste a sec to procure it. The handbag is of pale pink in colour and is very glossy and shiny. I bought it only for Rs.700, it was a discounted price, its actual cost is Rs.2000. I got it at really a good bargain.

I was exultant to have this handbag,I have been taking it wherever I m going, shopping, Party, going to meet someone, etc. It is in reality, a Party handbag one usually carry it when they go to attend some fabulous party or even weddings but I have been carrying it everywhere.I was so excited that I made a video of it just so you guys can have look at it. A simple picture of it would not be enough, it is what I feel, but I will also upload a pic of it anyway.

My Sugar Lips

SUGAR cosmetics is gradually becoming my one of the most favourite cosmetics company, especially their lip colour range. Recently, in my FAB BAG (please do peruse my previous blog) i.e. of February edition, which was Valentine's Day special edition, I received the newly launched Sugar cosmetics SMUDGE ME NOT LIQUID LIPSTICK. This time I was asked( by the FAB BAG representatives through an e-mail) to select from the Sugar cosmetics varied colour range that they have freshly launched and I opted for Wine and Shine.

I think this is a very innovative step from their(fab bag) side, appealing to the client to opt for their favourite colour, in this way both the parties would be satisfied and their would be no more disappointment for not meeting the expectation on either side. Therefore, the Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick  is what I m sticking to since I have received it in my goodies bag.

Yes, I m loving every bit of it, the colour was of my choice and let me assure you, it is fantastic, I m in total awe of the colour(Wine and Shine) when I first placed the order, I thought why not be a little bold and thus, opted out for the colour that could go so totally wrong because it was very unique and have a hint of purple shade, not pink or any shade of pink that was also available to me,but I thought to go a different route this time as I love experimenting with lip colours.

Because of light the colour is not properly enhanced but it is a little bit of purple shade
I m totally bowled over by the shade and the new range of Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Wine and Shine. I have been using it since the very first day I laid my hands on it, it is the 1st liquid lipstick that I came across which is matte, I mean thoroughly matte, it is smudge proof, well tinted and stays on even after 24 hrs, take my word I have been using it from the last 2 weeks, it doesn't come off before 24 hrs, though it will become lighter( not if you reapply).

One can always order it online, in India, on their website: https://in.sugarcosmetics.com. It is really catching up with India's leading cosmetics brands.

BELLE ARCADY

I was so eagerly waiting to review this month FAB BAG, but due to certain problem I was not able to write about it when I first received it on 2nd of Feb, 2017. This time it was Valentine's Day special, and they send me some gorgeous products and a 10% discount on my next purchase of FAB BAG,as mine is getting expired this February.

So firstly, let me explain the system of FAB BAG and what is a FAB BAG. It was first conceived in 2012 by Vineeta Singh and Kaushil Mukherjee and was earlier known as Vallvette box.The box is generally consists of sample/miniature products, though they sometime also give full size products, that has been launched recently,of well known brands that already exist in the market like- Loreal, MAC,etc. sometimes they also offer limited edition of International products that has just been launched in India, e.g- Sugar cosmetics which is only available online in India and was launched last year,i.e. in 2016.

The products vary from month to month and one would generally get 3-5 products at a time.It is a box that offers beauty and make-up solution to ladies who are quite confuse when it come to the selection of make-up and beauty products according to their personalities. The bag is super awesome, I have used it and it is because of my personal experience,I would recommend it to every person I come across. I would at least suggest to give it a try once. They offer a very reasonable subscription plan of 1 month-Rs.599, 3 months- Rs.1599, 6 month-Rs. 2899 and 12 month-Rs.4999.

It is the most affordable beauty box among others. There are various other beauty boxes that offer the same kind of services but they are quite expensive, I did look out for others but the cost will kill some of us, take for example:

  • My Envy Box- Rs.850/month, Rs.2250 for 3 months and Rs.4350 for 6 month (and they are on offers)
  • Globox:  Rs.999/month, Rs.2847 for 3 months and Rs.5394 for 6 months
There are many more as such, but the most cost friendly one is FAB BAG. I just love the products that I receive, I always opt for 3 month subscription and would subscribe again in march as I don't want to receive the same product,I have already received this month's and I have received a full size product this time also( this takes my full size product upto to 3).

I will review each and every product that I have received in my FAB BAG in my next blog, one by one. As I only review those things that I have experienced/used myself, it generally takes me time to put forward my views.

Life Of A Bird

A  bird is free to make its choices, make its own mistakes and correct them according to its own leisure, she lay eggs and when they are hatched she will look after her babies, like all other of course, however, when those babies of hers is quite grown up, she would leave them to fetched on their own,to lead their lives as she did, free from any restriction, full of mistakes yet self-directing.

This is a system that have been adopted by people throughout the world, though there are exception, not every household in every country or cities follow this system/pattern. Like in my home-place, India. In India parents never leave their children all alone, even if we are grown enough to take care of them.(financially, physically and mentally), except girls. It is a ritual in India that a girl have to leave her home after marriage to go and live with her in-laws. She rarely get to choose her groom, this  however is evolving day by day and more and more girls are making their own choice, if they want to marry. So, anyway, its a common knowledge that after marriage a girl has to suffer a bit because of in-laws misbehaviour and husband will never utter a word in her wife's defence(this is also changing for good).

Since my childhood, like a hammer to a nail, I keep hearing these things, from my parents and relatives too (joint family or not relatives think they have rights to poke their nose in every family matter, in India),that I have to get married and go away to my in-laws so I have to be very careful and serve them obediently and I have to sometime listen to their shits and that I should never retort to them even if I m annoyed or pissed from them, just imagine, horrible isn't it?. If my parents tell me to do something and I forget I often get a good lecture from them( by my mother most of the time) about how I m going to suffer at the hand of my in-laws and would get scolding all the time by them. whenever my mom is annoyed or she is pissed from me she would tell me these. This is what happen to most of Indian girls if not all. I think that is why most Indian women are mentally and emotionally very strong because we women not only have to think for ourselves but also for others,we Indian women are trained that way since our childhood,at least I m( I m not married yet), I know I would be able to handle any situation I m in with dignity and ease.

I sometime wished my parents would behave like birds do and leave me to fetch on my own but then I also know my parents love me to the moon and back and they are concern for me and they want me to have a glorious life and I love them too and whatever they say or do that is ultimately for my own good,my parents are the reason that I m well educated,I m able to write this blog,I m very strong mentally and emotionally, they are the reason I exist. I would always want them to be my parents even in the next life,if I am born again.

Being a "BOMBSHELL"

I received this Be A Bombshell Lip Stain( Riot) in my goody bag, which I have subscribed online and believe me this lip stain has swept me of my feet.First and foremost the style of the lip stain is so stunning, it is like a coloured felt pen, this so wins me over.See the pic below:

I m in love with this invention, so easy to use, no wastage, precise application,no extra need of lip liner,so smooth and tinted, even after 24 hrs I see that the colour is there on my lips, though lighter than when I have applied the shade.I use this lip stain all the time, even under my creme lipstick or gloss just like a base to enhance my lip colour.

You can see, in the above pic, the below pic of my lips is slightly dark than the upper pic, because the upper pic of my lip, I had taken, after 24 hrs of applying the lip stain but the colour is still there.

I totally treasure this Be A Bombshell lip stain of mine and the colour is,oh! so fabulous. The only lament from my side is, ok made that 2:

  • not much pigmented, I have to swatch it for 2-3 times to get the colour
  • It drys my lips extensively, which I don't like much.
  • It is not available in India, I have seen the product in amazon.in(India website) ranging from Rs.2099-2499(depending on colours) if you ask me, I find the cost quite high and would have never ordered from there.
However, the site from where I get my goodies,is offering it at a price of Rs.799( which is quite affordable). Apart from these there is nothing to moan about .The innovations in cosmetics that I m encountering is intensifying my anticipation day by day.

Always "SUGAR" Coated

Apart from my entrenched love for books, I m a lunatic for cosmetics. Deep pockets is the only hurdle that is thwarting me to fill my closet with books and cosmetics, any how, I m managing both of my love with decorous perseverance.

I spent quite a few hours online, like all other-of my generation, frittering away time on social media and searching online for stuffs. So, I happen to come across this website of SUGAR cosmetics which is a reputable international brand and which has open its market in India recently, though online only. Their website in.sugarcosmetics.com has got me intrigued not just because they have launched fabulous varieties of  colours in cosmetics but also because they have Gift and Set section where you can get different shades of lipstick, smudge free Kohl, mascara, eyeliner, etc. all in one set or different set according to your likability, one can also place order individually.

Thus, unable to control my delirium,I placed an order for their newly launched lip product, which got me really excited and impressed when I explored the mentioned site. I received my package within a week and with extreme enthusiasm tear opened the package as soon as the delivery person hand it over to me. I ordered one of their most sought after lip product(see below):
SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick, 01 Scarlett O'Hara (Red)
I really adored the item, it is well pigmented, very smooth and glides on efficiently, value for money(which is Rs.799), has as much matte effect as I would like, wonderfully encased but the only thing that upstage the whole credibility of the product is that it has to be sharpened. I m very much against the cosmetics that has to be sharpened every now and then to get the desired result. I mean seriously,so much of wastage, I like lipstick where  you just have to twist a little bit (like lakme lip tint matte) and use only as much as required and the whole things is nice and intact, no wastage at all. If I have to give ratings on this then I would give 4 out of 5 just because of sharpen thing and the mess it create. I really appreciate this pencil style lipstick, not like other boring old school lipstick which is all over the place.Over all its hold on to its own and is very handy. RED IS CLASSIC,so is "SUGAR".
